If you’re looking to save costs and have a few friends with a creative flair then our DIY service might be of interest.
Your chair covers and sashes will be delivered to you 2 days before the event, all covers will be washed and pressed before being sent however you may want to run an iron over any that have become creased in transit.
All you then need to do is pop the covers onto the chairs and tie the bows. On average it will take 1 hour for 2 people to set up 100 chair covers and bows.
After the event, package the items up safely and return to us within 2 working days.

Terms & Conditions
- All hired equipment remains the sole property of Sapphires venue & Balloon Decor.
- The ‘hire’ will be for the period as agreed and must be returned as arranged.
- The responsibility for the equipment rests with the customer from the time of delivery to the time of collection.
- Items for return must be packed as instructed in the boxes provided and be available for collection at the pre arranged collection address. The courier will only collect from the agreed collection address; failure to comply with this term may result in additional courier charges.
- The £50 refundable damage and £100 security deposits will be returned within 7 working days of receipt of hired equipment once it has been checked for damage.
- The customer shall pay 20% deposit on confirmation of booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 2 weeks before the event date.
- The cost of replacement of equipment can be provided upon request.
- It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the chair covers are both suitable and fit the chairs at your venue. We are more than happy to provide various samples to ensure a good fit.
- Confirmation of the customers exact requirements regarding the number of covers and sashes required should be made available to us no later than 14 days before your event. Adjustments after this time are at the discretion of Sapphires Venue & Balloon Decor.
- All returned items are laundered; this is included in the hire price. Standard laundering removes stains such as drink spillage, food stains and shoe polish. However any damages that are perceived by Sapphires Venue & Balloon Decor to have been caused by treating the covers without due care may result in an additional laundering/repair charge being issued.
- Boxes will be provided by Sapphires venue & Balloon Decor for the return of covers and sashes. All hired items are to be returned in the provided boxes only. Instructions will be included on how to pack them. Sashes must be removed from the chair cover and untied. Covers must be distributed evenly between the supplied boxes as they are heavy.
- The total number of hired items must be returned as agreed to Sapphires Venue & Balloon Decor after your event. Any missing/non-returned items will require full value payment. The customer will be invoiced within seven days of receipt of stocks for missing items.
- All samples are issued so that the customer can check the suitability of the cover. The samples must be returned to confirm the booking.
- During the hire period should any cover get wet, they must be allowed to dry before being packed for return. This is because some of the materials are susceptible to mould/mildew if they are left wet.
